Here are some resources I use when clients are in need of additional help and support as well as some mindfulness and distress tolerance recordings that may be useful. Click the heading to take you to each section.


Grounding techniques can be extremely helpful when feeling distressed, anxious or disassociated. They work by bringing us back into the present moment and back into our bodies. Below are a few different strategies to practice and find out what works for you. The aim is to turn your focus away from the distressing or traumatic thought or feeling and bring you back to the safety and reality of the here and now.
