Hi, I am Sam and I am passionate about people and helping them through difficult times, situations and problems life can throw their way.
I am an integrative therapist, which means I have been professionally trained in a variety of counselling theories. This enables me to adapt to your needs and personalise each session to fit you.
I aim to offer a relationship in which you are free to be completely you and a space to feel safe, heard and accepted. Having been through therapy myself, I understand how daunting the process can be, it is not easy, I can support you every step of the way as we work together to try and achieve the peace, the acceptance or whatever it is you are striving for.

I worked in education for many years as a learning support assistant. I have since retrained as a therapist and as well as working in private practice, I have worked within a GP surgery counselling patients with a wide variety of presenting issues from anxiety and depression to childhood trauma, sexual and emotional abuse and relationship difficulties. I volunteered for over two years as a counsellor for a cancer charity working with cancer patients and their families and also counselled within a local 6th form college, working with students with a huge range of presenting issues including anxiety, depression, gender and sexuality.
