Who am I?

Hi, I am Sam and I am passionate about people and helping them through difficult times, situations and problems life can throw their way.

I am an integrative therapist, which means I have been professionally trained in a variety of counselling theories. This enables me to adapt to your needs and personalise each session to fit you.

I aim to offer a relationship in which you are free to be completely you and a space to feel safe, heard and accepted. Having been through therapy myself, I understand how daunting the process can be, it is not easy, I can support you every step of the way as we work together to try and achieve the peace, the acceptance or whatever it is you are striving for.

Who am I?

Short Introduction Video

I worked in education for many years as a teaching assistant. I have since retrained as a therapist and as well as working in private practice, I have worked within a GP surgery counselling patients with a wide variety of presenting issues from anxiety and depression to childhood trauma, sexual and emotional abuse and relationship difficulties. I volunteered for over two years as a counsellor for a cancer charity working with cancer patients and their families and also counselled within a local 6th form college, working with students with a huge range of presenting issues including anxiety, depression, gender and sexuality.
